Hotel Fratelli in Karlstad needed speakers that could deliver an equally strong aesthetic impression as well as a solid audio performance. The choice fell on Swedish speaker manufacturer Audio Pro, which met both requirements with its T3+.
In April 2024, the doors of Hotel Fratelli opened for the first time in Karlstad, Sweden. By this time the hotel had undergone extensive renovations during the past 3 years, as the historic premises had previously housed a well-known clothing store. Both the floor plan and the interior design have been fully adapted to this new hotel, which has been given a high-quality finish and an ambition to deliver both service and visitor experience at a premium level. The hotel also houses three restaurants with plans to make a significant impact on Karlstad's restaurant scene.
"In order to deliver a feeling of quality during your stay, we are keen to use interior details in our hotel rooms that match these expectations. It is certainly not an industry standard for hotels to be able to offer music in hotel rooms, but for us it is a way to further strengthen this feeling of quality. We chose Audio Pro speakers to be able to offer both premium sound as well as an aesthetic detail that blends well with the rest of the interior design”, explains Anders Pertun, CEO of Hotel Fratelli.
“For us, it is just as important to be able to offer a speaker in our hotel rooms as a desk lamp. We believe that the speaker is a vital component of the overall experience. And from a brand perspective, it is important that we offer a premium speaker like Audio Pro. Of course, we could have used a cheaper budget speaker with questionable sound, but that would have felt like a wrong choice for our brand. We want a speaker that means quality. It is just as important as we would never choose faux laminate as flooring - if you see oak flooring, it will be real oak and nothing else.
Our choice of speakers works in the same way, and that is why we chose Audio Pro”, explains Anders Pertun. Jens Henriksen, CCO at Audio Pro, says; “We were of course very pleased when we were contacted by Hotel Fratelli. The hotel's boutique design and beautiful interior felt like a perfect fit for our gray T3+. Currently, you can find our speakers in all suites and deluxe rooms, but we have been told that the hotel has plans to put a speaker in all rooms in the hotel. Which of course we think sounds like a very wise idea.”
