In mid-April, we released a new color version of our popular C5 MkII W speaker. This limited edition, has the classic design with a leather handle on top, and no front grill. The name is C5 MkII W classic and the color is a shade of yellow.
The yellow color is paired with a control panel and grills in brass colored metal, creating a fresh and exclusive look for this small, yet powerful speaker. Nils Ankarcrona CEO at Audio Pro, comments: “Our limited editions have become very popular amongst our interior design-oriented consumers. These eye-catching, not so very common colors in this industry make consumers consider the speaker to be something worth emphasizing in their home decoration design, rather than trying to have the speaker to blend into the background, almost hiding. And this yellow is certainly a fresh color tone for springtime.”
We launched the W-generation speakers in September last year, and this C5 MkII W is therefore part of the new generation speakers with the new improved app, new sound and refined design. This small speaker packs a larger punch than you might think at first glance. And the new app, powered by Linkplay, supplies smarter control, new features, improved stability and thereby a smoother and more intuitive user journey.
Yellow has in many cultures been called ‘the color of happiness’, and is often perceived as a warm, positive and youthful color. Even though, large areas of yellow can get tiresome, and perceived as annoying, a small amount of yellow, such as a speaker, is perceived by many as invigorating and inspiring. “So let’s hope that this little speaker can bring some small ray of light into these challenging times”, says Nils Ankarcrona.
