Adidas selected Audio Pro, the Swedish speaker designer, as their provider of wireless speaker system for their stores.
Adidas Australia have been investing in new stores as well as updating existing stores with a fresh and contemporary look. In this process they needed an audio solution to match their new look and feel. Adidas who is Europe’s largest sports apparel manufacturer and second largest globally, got what they needed from The Gangi Electrics in Docklands Melbourne, one of the leading integrator clients of Synergy Audio Visual, the Australian distributor of Audio Pro Business.
Phil Sawyer, the Managing Director of Synergy Audio Visual explains; “The original specification was for wired pendant speakers suspended from the open ceiling. We supply pendants that would have suited their requirements perfectly, but we took the opportunity to introduce them to Audio Pro Business – an easy transition when I saw they had 3 phase, 4 wire lighting tracks already specified. This would mean that they would easily be able to make use of the super easy installation process Audio Pro Business speaker systems offer, by being able to click the speakers into the existing lighting tracks, without having to use any extra power cables.”
“Normally many businesses are being reluctant to change their specifications, but we learnt that Adidas immediately saw the value in the ease of placement, installation and lack of additional wiring”, says Phil. Adidas were very impressed by the acoustic performance of the first installation. So far, the Audio Pro Business speaker system has been rolled out in 5 stores, and as they expand their presence across Australia, they plan to add Audio Pro Business system to them.
